Bruce has been investing in the industrial, environmental, and energy sectors since 1994 and is focused primarily on later stage transactions. Bruce is also a Managing Partner at NGP Energy Technology Partners and a Senior Advisor to Black Bay Energy Capital. Before ES Capital/NGP Energy Technology Partners, Bruce worked for Allied Capital, where he led or co-led the firm’s energy investing activities. Bruce also held positions with middle market private equity firms Saw Mill Capital and JP Morgan Capital. Bruce began his career in market research consulting and with Bechtel Enterprises, the finance and investment arm of the global engineering and construction firm.

Eric is also a Principal at NGP Energy Technology Partners. Before ES Capital/NGP Energy Technology Partners, Eric was an Associate in the Diversified Industrials Group at P&M Corporate Finance, an investment banking firm in Chicago, where he advised corporations and private equity firms in identifying, analyzing and executing acquisitions across a variety of industrial sectors. Eric began his career as an Analyst in Merrill Lynch’s Commercial Lending Group.

James is also a Principal at NGP Energy Technology Partners. Before ES Capital/NGP Energy Technology Partners, James worked for Magnetar Capital, where he evaluated long and short equity investments in the energy space. Before Magnetar, James worked for American Capital's Energy group, the team that was responsible for all energy-related investments in leveraged buyouts, minority equity and junior debt deal structures. James started his career at Prudential Capital Group focusing on debt and mezzanine transactions in energy.
